I used to work at a local restaurant, Mama Mexico. I didn't actually do much but I learned how to make guacamole!!!
*I don't know the exact measurements of this recipe. I learned how to do it naturally, but I'll try to estimate as best as I can.*
1 large avocado (Instructions to open and peel one of these will be on the bottom)
1 medium tomato, diced
1/2 medium white onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic (or you can use 2 teaspoons of garlic power, but fresh it better)
a few sprigs of cilantro, chopped fine
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
salt and pepper
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together until well incorporated...that's it.
I might make a tutorial video in the future.
To open a avocado, insert the edge of your knife into the side of the avocado until you hit the pit. Then, turn the avocado until it is cut in half. You can remove the pit by smacking the base of the blade into the pit and twisting. To get the pit out, take you thumb and finger and push the pit out from the back.
